II Corinthians 4:1 "Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not,"
Do you ever get tired, discouraged or frustrated when doing what God has called you to do?
You are not alone.
Yet the choice must be made - not to give up, not to quit, not to faint!
How? By running towards and resting in the mercy of God.
Lamentation 3:22-23 "It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."
God's mercy is an expression of His love and a demonstration of His faithfulness.
Today, let us allow the reality of God's mercy to enable us to continue within the plan of God for our respective lives and this particular day.

Ephesians 5:2 “And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.”

This past Sunday we were challenged to outline prayer requests from Ephesians 4-6 for our children and our church.

In my list Ephesians 5:2 is prayer request #19: (it goes as follows)
God help my children, my fellow believers and myself live every moment willing to sacrifice for the needs of others within the boundaries of God

Today may we pray for and seek to fulfill the expression of Christ-like love to each person and within each situation.

May our walk with God be seen in our love for others!

Colossians 2:6-7 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him: Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.”
A thermometer is designed to reflect the temperature while a thermostat is designed to set the temperature.
How often is the “temperature of our hearts” set by how we feel about the world around us instead of the truth of God within us?
Paul challenges the Colossians to walk in God’s Word, so allowing the truth of God to fill our minds and hearts in a way that will result in continuous thanksgiving.
God help us this week to stop complaining about everything – in fact – can we ask God to help us go one day without complaining about anything!
Instead let us saturate our response to life with God’s word.
Have a great day in the Word – praising God each step of the way!
