Mark 5:19  Howbeit Jesus suffered him not, but saith unto him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee.

Jesus delivered this man from demonic possession.

His life was changed and he wanted to go with Jesus.

But as sometimes occurs God had other plans.

The desire on the part of the delivered man was noble, good, and it made sense.

Yet Christ said return to those you know and share what God has done for you.

Have you ever had worthy ambitions overridden by the will of God?

Stop wishing you could be, do, or go someplace else.

Are you where God has placed you doing that which He has called you to do? Then let that be enough. Stop trying to remove yourself from the best place on earth, the location of God's will.

Each day is filled with countless opportunities but the ones that are best are those chosen by the will of our Father.

So today let’s embrace the tasks He has for us. Be content in the circumstance of His choosing and reach out to others who need to hear the Good News!

Happy FIRST TUESDAY of 2014!
